Dave Eggar talked about the way his company tutors kids. He had some amazing, creative ideas that allowed children to learn in a fun environment. I liked the idea of giving kids an escape place to work in to help them concentrate better and make learning more fun. I also liked that the turoting place was one on one tutoring. A lot of times, kids don't get the attention they need in class in order to be able to understand and retain the information they are learning. One on one attention is also good because some kids don't learn in the same way, and need someone to teach it to them in a way they can understand. I thought Dave Eggar's tutoring place had an amazing system that helped a lot fo kids.
Dave Eggar talked in a very effective way. He spoke clearly and added humor in his speech. He also had a cool slideshow with pictures of what he was talking about in the background. He also added something at the end of his talk that he called a "TED wish". I thought that was a great addition to his talk and I think it is a good idea to give the audience a challenge for them to work on.
Dave Eggar gave a great TED talk with lots of inspiring new ideas. I will definitely include some of his techniques in my TED talk.
